The Electric XM-5000Li Luxury Scooter

The XM-5000Li Lithium Electric Scooter is one of our newest additions for ‘09.

The XM-5000Li is the first of it's kind street legal electric powered scooter  running on lightweight high powered Lithium Ion batteries and a 5000 watt rear hub motor. The XM-5000Li E-scooter is the fastest & lightest e-scooter available and because it's powered by 21 small light weight Lithium Ion batteries,  the driving distances can be up to 90 Miles on a single charge and the battery life can be 7 to 10 years and can be charged up to 2000 times, with proper battery care.

The XM-5000Li is about the same size as the XM-3500Li with equal weight. It also has about 25% more torque than the XM-3500Li. The distribution of the weight is also an important factor since the batteries are small and stored low in the bike to provide a low center of a gravity  which gives the driver more stability and control. With an updated rear hydraulic disc brake line, the stopping power of the XM-5000Li will be both quick & safe. The automatic transmission gives the 5000Li a top speed of about 65 MPH. We have personally tested this scooter to these speeds. This scooter is capable of traveling up to 90 miles on a single charge, and does not need to be re-charged daily if the bike is not going to exceed it's maximum range.

With the rising gas prices these days, electric modes of transportation are becoming an ever more affordable option versus traditional transportation. You will soon read about the XM-5000Li in many magazines and news releases & you are likely to see reports about it on TV in the near future. The XM-5000Li is certified Green.

The XM-5000Li is a DOT certified motor vehicle. This is Not A Toy Scooter. It is likely you will need a driver’s or motorcycle license to operate this bike. Consult your local DMV for more details.

Each XM-5000Li includes a VIN and MCO certificate that you must take to your local DMV office in exchange for a Title (Pink Slip) and License Plate / Registration.

This item is shipped by truck. Shipping is free as long as you pick it up at your nearest terminal. Alternatively, you can choose delivery to your door for $50. If you do not live in a major city, or close to a terminal, we suggest you pay the $50 to have it delivered directly to your business or department.
